[...] “the United Nations still recognizes the family as the basic unit of society. ”With the purpose of examining the role of families in the modern world and promoting more peaceful and inclusive societies. In 2018, The UN’s theme for this special day was “Families and Inclusive Societies”.
We celebrate Family Day on December 8 in Brazil. The day is a moment to honor and remember the importance of the family (institution). The family helps in the education, culture, moral and ethic formation of a person. Family is not just a mother, father, brother, or sister, but also all those who love, care and protect.
